BIO P141 Night Moisturizer Study (Multiple Groups)

PRESCREENING IS REQUIRED in the BIO Department at our facility. Come in anytime to prescreen.

Group 1:

V1  : MON 4/15  – 20 MINS.

V2  : MON 4/22   – 2 HRS.

V3 :  MON 5/20   – 1.5 HRS.

V4 :  MON 6/17   – 1.5 HRS.

GROUP 2:   

V1  :  WED 4/17  – 20 MINS.

V2  : THURS 4/25   – 2 HRS.

V3 :  THURS 5/23   – 1.5 HRS.

V4 :  THURS 6/20   – 1.5 HRS.

GROUP 3:   

V1  :  FRI 4/19  – 20 MINS.

V2  :  FRI 4/26   – 2 HRS.

V3:   FRI 5/24   – 1.5 HRS.

V4 :   FRI 6/21   – 1.5 HRS.

Inclusion Criteria:

• Subject is female between the ages of 45-70
• Subject is Fitzpatrick Skin Type I-IV
• Subject has mild-to-severe/noticeable skin conditions (3-8 on a scale of 0-9, where 0 is none and 9 is severe), minimum qualification of 3 for all attributes:
• Forehead wrinkles, Glabellar lines, Crow’s feet wrinkles, Nasolabial fold, Marionette lines, Fine lines in crow’s feet area, Fine lines under eyes, Wrinkles under eyes, Wrinkles on cheeks, Dull skin, Skin texture/roughness (visual), Skin laxity/sagging of jowls
• Subject is required to have facial concerns consistent with the product offering including dry or dehydrated areas, fine lines, wrinkles in motion, wrinkles at rest, deep wrinkles or creases, dull/lack-luster skin/loss of radiance, laxity
• Subject agrees to practice sun-avoidance behaviors during the study period (i.e., avoid direct sun exposure of the treatment area, wear hat and sunglasses when outdoors, etc.)
• Subject agrees to sign a Photography Release Form and QVC Model Release Form, providing consent for the capture of digital images for use in relation to this clinical study;
• Subject agrees to sign a QVC affidavit;
• Subject agrees that 2 hours prior to each test facility visit they are to avoid exercise, hot beverages, caffeine, spicy food, and alcohol or any activity that could induce sweating

Exclusion Criteria

• Subject is pregnant, nursing, planning a pregnancy, or not using adequate birth control;
• Subject has oily or very oily skin
• Subject exhibits any facial tattoos/tattooed cosmetics, non-removable piercings, eyelash extensions, rashes, scratches, scars, large birthmarks or burn marks on the test site (face) which may interfere with the evaluation of the test sites/results, and/or detract from or obscure emphasis on the results captured in study images. Participants must remove facial piercings at all visits
• Subject has permanent fake eyelashes
• Subject is currently a smoker or has a history of heavy smoking and/or vaping
• Subject has visible sunburn, planning to vacation with excessive sun exposure or use a tanning booth, or use of a sunless tanner on the face during the study period
• Subject is engaged in another facial skincare study including the eye area in the last month
• Subject has undergone a professionally administered chemical peel or microdermabrasion in the past year
• Subject has undergone an injectable cosmetic procedure (Botox®, Restylane®, Sculptra® etc) in the past year or plan to have any additional treatments during the study period
• Subject has undergone a surgical eyelift or face lift or other invasive cosmetic procedure in their lifetime or plan to undergo any cosmetic procedure during the study period
• Subject has completed a course of treatment involving a prescription retinoid in the past year
• Subject has used any prescription or OTC skin lightening/tone evening product or acne products within the past 6 months
• Subject is currently taking or has taken a nutritional supplement designed for improving skin health/condition in the prior 3 months
