PRESCREENING IS REQUIRED IN THE BIO DEPARTMENT IN OUR FACILITY. Come in anytime of the day and prescreen to see if you qualify for this study.
If you know someone who may qualify for this study, have them come to our facility to prescreen.
INCLUSIONS:
- Subjects are Males or Females
- Subjects are between the ages of 18 to 65
- Subject has moderate to severe dandruff on Day 0 (2 days without shampoo)
- Subject has moderate to severe dandruff on Day -14 (2 days without shampoo
- Subject agrees to have 1 area of 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm trimmed from the back of the head (See Image Below)
- Subject has any hair type (excluded white/grey)
- Subject has done their last shampoo application 2 days prior to the study visit
- Subject has a hair length of > 2cm (Female: ear or longer and male: at least ½ inch long)
- Subject agrees not to color, chemically treat, or cut their hair for the duration of the study
- Subject usually uses shampoo 2-3 times a week
- Subject is willing to follow a routine of 3 times a week shampoo schedule during the whole study period
- Subject is a regular user of anti-dandruff products
- Subject agrees not to get a short haircut during the study period
- Subject agrees to only use the provided shampoo during the study duration
EXCLUSIONS:
- Subject is participating on another clinical study from the neck up (face and hair studies)
- Subject has alopecia in vertex
- Subject has with more than 60% of white hair influencing the scoring of dandruff
- Subject has skin marks on scalp that could interfere with the assessment.
