NOTES: PRESCREENING IS REQUIRED with a clean makeup & product-free face.

  • Subject must be Fitzpatrick Skin Type I-IV.
  • Subject must be able to sweat easily on face.
  • Subject must be okay with high heat & humidity.
  • Subject must not be claustrophobic.
  • Subject must not have high blood pressure.
  • Subject must not currently have any skin condition (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, rosacea), or any infection or wound on or around the face.
  • Subject must not have used or is currently using Isotretinoin (Accutane), Retin-A, Retinol, or Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) on or around the face in the past 3 months.
  • Subject must not be sensitive or allergic to cosmetic personal care topical products or fragrances.
  • Subject must not have any rashes, cuts, scars, burns (including sunburns), open wounds, active acne, tattoos, and/or broken skin at the time of testing that will interfere with testing on the test site.
  • No other face studies or follicular studies while on this study.
  • This study must be done before any Back Patch applications.
  • Children are not allowed in the facility for visits longer than 20 minutes.

Study Hours:  9 to 11:30 p.m.

Visit 1: Monday, 6/12 – 1.5 hours

Inclusions:
1. Subject is female between the ages of 18 to 65;
2. Subject sweats easily on face;
3. Subject has normal to oily skin;
4. Subject has light to medium skin tone;
6. Subject is in good general health;
7. Subject has clean test sites free of lotions, sunscreens, make-up, perfumes or other topical products;
9. Subject agrees to refrain from additional skin treatments on the test site during the study;
10. Subject agrees to not participate in and is not currently participating in any other study involving the test site;
11. Subject demonstrates the ability to read and understand all the items in the informed consent document;
12. Subject is willing to sign the informed consent document of her free will and without any reservations;

Exclusions:
1. Subject has chronic medical condition that may interfere with testing (e.g. asthma, insulin-dependent diabetes, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis or other immune/auto-immune disease);
2. Subject applies any prescription or Over the Counter medications to the skin on or around the test site (e.g. anti-acne or hydrocortisone;
3. Subject takes more than five different prescription medications for medical conditions;
4. Subject routinely uses or has recently used medication which may interfere with testing such as insulin, steroids, steroid anti-inflammatories, Singulair, inhalers (more than 3 times a month ), or immunosuppressants;
5. Subject has had cancer within the past year or has received treatment for cancer within the past year, and is currently taking preventative cancer related medications;
6. Subject has a chronic skin condition;
7. Subject currently has any skin condition (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, rosacea), or any infection or wound on or around the test site.
8. Subject has used or is currently using Isotretinoin (Accutane), Retin-A, Retinol, or Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) on or around the test site(s) in the past 3 months;
9. Subject has sensitivity or allergy to cosmetic personal care topical products or fragrances;
10. Subject has reported pregnancy, is planning to become pregnant during the study, or is currently lactating;
11. Subject has had any medical procedures on the test site(s), such as cosmetic surgery, injectable anti-wrinkle products, laser or light treatments, permanent makeup applications/removals, or home-use medical devices and anti-aging procedures etc., within the past year;
12. Subject is currently participating in another study involving the test site:
13. Subject has any rashes, cuts, scars, burns (including sunburns), open wounds, active acne, tattoos, and/or broken skin at the time of testing that will interfere with testing on the test site;
14. Subject is an employee of the investigator or personal care/cosmetic manufacturer;
