NOTE: YOU MUST WEAR A FACE MASK/COVERING WHILE IN THE ECRL FACILITY.
* Children are not permitted in the ECRL facility unless they have a scheduled pediatric study appointment.
*Purses, back packs or other personal bags may not be brought into the lab at this time.
* We will be closed Monday, February 15th for President’s Day.
Starts : 3/5, 3/8, 3/10, 3/12, 3/15, 3/17, 3/19, 3/22, 3/24, 3/26 Challenge Phase : 4/12 to 4/16 (Mon-Fri)
|* Be male or female 18 to 70 years of age in general good health.|
|* If FEMALE – and currently sexually active, be using an adequate method of birth control.|
|* agree to refrain from getting patches wet and scrubbing or washing the test area with soap, or|
|applying powders, lotions or personal care products to the test area during the course of study.|
|* agree to avoid excessive sun exposure of the test sites and to refrain from visits to tanning salons|
|during the course of study.|
|* agree not to introduce any new cosmetic or toiletry products during the study.|
|* be willing to participate in all study evaluations.|
|* must be dependable and able to follow directions as outlined in the protocol.|
|* be able to understand and be willing to sign an Informed Consent Form.|
|You MUST NOT:|
|* if Female, be pregnant, nursing, planning a pregnancy or using inadequate birth control.|
|* have received treatment with sympathomimetics, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, non-steroidal|
|anti-inflammatory agents and/or systemic or topical corticosteroids within one week prior|
|to study initiation.|
|* have a history of allergies to tape adhesives.|
|* have scheduled or plan to undergo any surgical or medical procedures during the 6 week course|
|of the study.|
|* have any known allergies to cosmetics, skin care products or topical drugs|
|* have a history of acute or chronic dermatologic, medical, and/or physical conditions which would|
|preclude application of the test material and/or could influence the outcome of the study,|
|or be confused with a skin reaction from the test material.|
|* be under treatment for a skin and/or systemic bacterial infection.|
|* be currently taking certain medications which, in the opinion of the Principal Investigator, may interfere|
|with the study.|
