Subjects can not use anti-aging products 28 days prior to the study.
Study Description:
This is a 12-week study with 6 visits in total. The test site will be the face. Various evaluations will be performed throughout the study: VISIA images, Expert Clinical Grading, and Questionnaires.
Inclusion Criteria
- Subject is female between the ages of 30-70;
- Subject is Fitzpatrick Skin Type I-VI
- Subject is Caucasian, African American, Asian, Hispanic or Latino;
- Subject is any Skin Type (Normal, Oily, Dry, Combo)
- Subject is self-perceived Sensitive skin (50%) or Non-sensitive skin (50%);
- Subject to have the following on the face (3-6 on a scale of 0-9):
- Fine lines, Wrinkles, Texture/Smoothness (tactile), Firmness , Plumpness
- Subject to have the following on the face (4-6 on a scale of 0-9):
- a. Radiance (clarity, luminosity, color complexion)
- Subject agrees not to introduce any new cosmetic or toiletry products during the study other than the products provided in this study;
- Subject agrees to use their current non-antiaging moisturizer and cleanser through the conditioning phase of the study (from Consenting through Baseline/D0);
- Subject agrees not to use depigmenting products, retinol-based cosmetics, Vitamin C-based cosmetics or AHA-based cosmetics or self-tanning products on the face throughout the course of the study;
- Subject agrees not to use anti-aging products or products claiming efficacy on skin firmness on the face throughout the course of the study;
- Subject agrees to report to ECRL with a clean and product free face that has been washed in the last 24 hours and not had any product applied for all study evaluations;
- Subject is dependable and able to follow directions as outlined in the protocol and anticipates being available for all study visits
- Subject is willing to participate in all study evaluations
- Subject is in generally good health and has a current Panelist Profile Form on file at ECRL
- Subject agrees to sign a Photography Release, providing consent for the capture of digital images for use in relation to this clinical study
Exclusion Criteria
- Subject is participating in another clinical study.
- Subject is pregnant, nursing, planning a pregnancy, or not using adequate birth control.
- Subject has received treatment with sympathomimetics, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, and/or systemic or topical corticosteroids within one week prior to initiation of the study;
- Subject has a history of acute or chronic dermatologic, medical, and/or physical conditions which would, in the opinion of the Principal Investigator, preclude application of the test material and/or could influence the outcome of the study;
- Subject is currently taking certain medications which, in the opinion of the Principal Investigator, may interfere with the study;
- Subject has known allergies to skin treatment products or cosmetics, toiletries, and/or topical drugs;
- Subject exhibits any facial tattoos/tattooed cosmetics, eyelash extensions, rashes, scratches or burn marks on the test site (face) which may interfere with the evaluation of the test sites/results at the discretion of the principal investigator;
- Subject has had facial injections (botox or fillers etc.) in the last 6 months;
- Subject has a history of skin cancer, or is currently undergoing treatment for active cancer of any kind;
- Subject has diabetes.
