Below is the link to access the survey online or you can reach our recruiting department at 732-562-1010 x 0 to take the survey over the phone.
Please read the following description of a 6-Week Back Patch Study and complete the survey if you are interested:
Subjects will test personal care/household products placed under adhesive patches on their backs. These patches will be worn for 24-hours to test for irritation or allergic reactions.
Subjects will report to ECRL at their scheduled appointment time starting on a Friday. Subjects will be patched on the back that day and will return to ECRL for patches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 3 weeks for a total of 9 applications. Subjects must wear the patches for 24 hours and remove them by themselves at home. The test sites will be examined for dermal irritation at each visit prior to reapplication of the patches. Subjects must not use soap on their back, apply other products, or scrub their back during the 3 week Induction Phase and must not get the patches wet. After the 3 week Induction Phase, subjects have a 2 week break where they do not have visits. Subjects then will return to ECRL on a Monday for the Challenge Week. Subjects will be patched on a new site on the back and must return after 24 hours where the patches will be removed at ECRL. On Tuesday the patches are removed and the sites are examined. Subjects return every day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) for a quick look until study completion on Friday. Subjects will be compensated $250 for their completion of the study.
